Title:The price of knowledge: Access and student finance in Canada -- Third edition
Source:http://www.millenniumscholarships.ca/images/Pub...
Date:2007
Organization:Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation
Short Description:The Third Edition of The Price of Knowledge seeks to build on the basis provided by the previous two editions. It brings to the fore data that have become available since 2004, and seeks to sharpen a number of arguments related to the importance of continuing to improve access to post-secondary education and to the implications of the changing nature of the post-secondary student body.
Annotation:The Third Edition of The Price of Knowledge seeks to build on the basis provided by the previous two editions. On the one hand, it brings to the fore data that have become available since 2004. These include data from the Canada Millennium Scholarship Foundation’s own studies, such as the follow-up survey of high school students who graduated in 2003 and the survey of student finance, as well as data from sources such as Statistics Canada (notably, the Youth in Transition Survey). On the other hand, this edition seeks to sharpen a number of arguments related to the importance of continuing to improve access to post-secondary education and to the implications of the changing nature of the post-secondary student body.
