Annotation:In the fall of 2003, Georgian College’s Institute of Applied Research and Innovation was commissioned to compile an inventory of current practices for students with dependants at post-secondary institutions in Canada and the United States. The project consisted of a non-scientific, exploratory, qualitative investigation at selected institutions. It did not try to represent all post-secondary institutions nor did it try to catalogue all practices available for students with dependants.
